Privacy policy

Your details stay purposeful.

This page explains what Dr-Gpu collects, why it is needed and how you can request access, correction or deletion.

Data controller

Dr-Gpu is based at 42 Borochov, Jerusalem, Israel. Privacy requests can be submitted through the contact form.

Information we collect

When you contact Dr-Gpu, send an order request or open a repair case, we may receive your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, GPU model and serial number, reported symptoms, repair photos, message, order details and preferred payment method. For Israeli orders, Dr-Gpu also collects the 9-digit Israeli identification or business number needed for billing.

  • A customer account stores an internal customer identifier, verified email, preferred language, profile and the orders linked to that account. Customers may sign in with a password or a one-time email code. Passwords are transmitted securely to Supabase and Dr-Gpu never stores them.
  • The cart and language or currency preferences are stored locally in your browser.
  • Dr-Gpu does not request or store card numbers through these forms.
  • Order requests are stored in a private administration database so Dr-Gpu can confirm stock, payment, pickup or shipment and keep an operational history.
  • Cancellation requests are linked to the identified order in the private administration database so Dr-Gpu can review and document the request without automatically cancelling the order.
  • Repair requests, customer approvals, workshop updates, optional photos and quote documents are stored privately so the customer and Dr-Gpu can document and follow the case.
  • GPU Advisor messages are sent to OpenAI only to extract the requested profile and explain the server-calculated result. Dr-Gpu does not store the conversation in its analytics database.
  • After a completed order or repair, a signed-in customer may submit a review linked to that intervention. The rating, original text, selected public name and publication consent are stored for moderation. Only approved reviews and any public Dr-Gpu reply are displayed; the author may modify or delete the review and anyone may report published content.

Why the information is used

The details are used to answer enquiries, confirm stock, prepare an order, diagnose and document repairs, record quotation decisions, arrange payment and delivery, provide after-sales support, prevent abuse and meet accounting or legal obligations.

Service providers and storage

Supabase authenticates customer email addresses, securely verifies password hashes and stores the authentication identifier and verified email. OpenAI processes GPU Advisor messages to understand the request and explain the deterministic result; API storage is disabled for these calls. Sign-in codes, contact messages, order follow-up emails, cancellation notifications, diagnosis-payment messages and important repair-stage notifications are delivered through Brevo, which processes the recipient, message content and technical delivery events. Cloudflare Turnstile processes limited browser and device signals to prevent automated requests. Cancellation requests are linked to the identified order in the private administration database; contact messages are emailed to Dr-Gpu without being stored in the inventory database. Account profiles, orders, repair case records and diagnosis-payment history are stored in the private administration database; repair photos and quote PDF documents are stored in private Cloudflare object storage. Customer-visible files are available only to the account owner and authorized administrator, while files marked internal remain restricted to the administrator. Online card or Bit payments are processed by PayPlus, which receives the payment amount, repair reference and customer contact details needed for the hosted payment page. When stock is confirmed, customer and order details are sent to Finbot to create, store and email the payment request; the Israeli billing identifier is included where applicable. Uncompleted, expired or cancelled order requests are removed from the private order database after 90 days. Completed transaction, repair, support and accounting records may be kept for the period required by applicable obligations.

Functional storage

The site uses browser storage for the cart, language and currency, plus a secure HttpOnly cookie to keep a customer signed in. Android stores its revocable session encrypted with Android Keystore, a random installation identifier for security and Firebase Cloud Messaging registration, a public catalogue cache for up to 7 days, and local language, currency, favorites and alert preferences. Favorites are local and are not synchronized in version 0.14. Customer notification history is synchronized with the account and removed after 90 days; disabling push stops Android alerts but does not remove that history. Repair photos are re-encoded before upload and metadata fields are removed again by the server where the format permits. GPU Advisor technical funnel events are deleted after 90 days and never contain message text, application IP address, email or user-agent. The site does not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising analytics.

Your choices and requests

You may ask what personal information Dr-Gpu holds about you and request correction or irreversible account deletion. Deletion revokes sessions and devices and removes non-required server data. Orders use the later applicable fiscal calculation when available, with 2,922 days from creation as a technical fallback. Repair case records are retained for 2,557 days after closure. Repair photos and technical attachments are retained for 365 days after closure, unless litigation, an active warranty, an accounting obligation or an explicit legal hold requires longer retention. On older app versions, strictly local favorites or caches may remain on the device until the app is updated, its data is cleared or it is uninstalled. They are no longer accessible through the deleted account. A second fully offline phone keeps encrypted local data until the app next starts or reconnects.
